There was once a time when current Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard dominated the paint as a member of the Orlando Magic; Wednesday was far removed from that night. After a play in the paint, Howard was nonplussed with the Orlando arms still making contact with him after a foul call, which led to Jared Dudley rushing in to his defense.

As far as regular-season NBA scrums go, there wasn't a whole lot to write home about from this Dudley/Howard v. Magic tete-a-tete. But it did get Dudley ejected from the game for a blatant shove to the back, which also figures to have financial repercussions.

The Magic franchise has changed drastically since Howard's time with the team, so while he may have been integral to the team's most recent Finals appearance, there was no love lost. These two teams will meet again Jan. 15 in Los Angeles.
