The new Los Angeles Lakers duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis seem to be getting along just fine. So much so, that the pair were seen playing football during warm-ups in their matchup against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.

To be fair, the cross-court passes were pretty precise. Judging by this alone, it does appear that these two stars will be exchanging a ton of long-distance fastbreak passes throughout the season.

For his part, LeBron showed off his passing game yet again on Sunday, notching a game-high 12 assists against the Hornets, along with 20 points (on 7-of-14 shooting), one three-pointer, six rebounds, and a steal. James played as the team's primary facilitator against Charlotte, as he constantly searched for Davis (and Dwight Howard who recorded a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double off the bench) with his dimes.

Davis certainly delivered, scoring 29 huge points for his side on an efficient 10-of-19 shooting. The 6-foot-10 big man also added three three-pointers, 14 rebounds, three assists, a steal, and three blocks.

Life has been good thus far in L.A., with the Lakers quickly bouncing back from their opening night defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers. On Friday, the Lakers also notched a 95-86 victory against a formidable Utah Jazz team, and Sunday night's win against the Hornets now makes it two straight for LeBron and company.

L.A. closes out the month with a third straight home game on Tuesday, as they host the Memphis Grizzlies in Staples Center.
