The Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night, and Nuggets backup point guard Monte Morris had some choice words for LeBron James.

As can be seen on the video, James (who is usually not one to be interested in trash talking per se) actually seemed to want to engage Morris on his braggadocio after the Nuggets guard drained a contested triple that James was defending.

Of course, the comments on Twitter responding to this vaguely spicy moment were many Lakers fans asking “who is that guy and why is he talking to the GOAT?” That’s a reasonable take, especially considering that LeBron James has been the leading votegetter in his respective conference for the third straight season in the All-Star game.

The 35-year-old is still one of the best players in the NBA, and he continues to lead the league in assists – the first time the NBA legend has ever done that.

Monte Morris does not quite have the resume that King James does, but at least he bested LeBron for that one moment – and he let him know about it, too!
