Lonzo Ball’s shooting woes may overshadow the other facets of his game where he’s better at, but one thing that he’s been consistent in is giving a lot of effort during games, to help the Los Angeles Lakers become successful. That was the case once again on Wednesday versus the Golden State Warriors, as the 20-year-old rookie showed a lot of hustle in the third quarter.
He dove for the ball to give his team the possession, but hit his face on the floor in the process. It caused him to be bloodied up because of a cut above his eye, and had to attended by team doctors to stop the bleeding.
The good news for the Lakers fans is he was able to return quickly to the game, and his wound just needed to be covered with some plaster. It also didn’t appear to distract him, as Ball knocked down three 3-pointers in the period.
It’s still unclear if the cut will require stitches, but with the Lakers having two days off, it’s will definitely work to his advantage, and give Ball enough time to recover from it.
