In a rare feat, Lonzo Ball of the Los Angeles Lakers rose up and posterized his foe.

In their game against the San Antonio Spurs, Ball drove to the hoop, and seemingly out of the blue, spiked it on Jakob Poeltl. Check out the clip below as posted by NBA TV:

The jam sent the crowd into a frenzy. Ball isn't really known as a player who creates highlights via dunks. Usually, it's thru nifty assists that he makes it to the highlight reel.

But the clip above proved that Lonzo Ball can rise up and slam it down. Apart from his supreme court vision, he also has some hops to his arsenal.

For the season so far, the 21-year-old Ball is averaging 8.0 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.3 steals. The numbers don't scream at you but his teammates, including LeBron James, have praised his aggressiveness on the floor.

Many believe that Lonzo Ball is still a work in progress. This year might not be the season that he'll be named to the All-Star team. It may take a season or two before Ball fully develops as the superstar that he's destined to be. Until then, we have highlight clips like the one above to remind ourselves of Ball's budding talent.
