Los Angeles Lakers stud Kyle Kuzma was in a very confident mood following his game-winner against the Denver Nuggets on Monday, saying that he would have taken the shot even if Jesus was in front of him. “Inside the NBA” host Shaquille O'Neal was a bit taken aback by Kuzma's odd hyperbole, and the legendary big man had quite a hilarious response once he got his bearings.

To be fair to Kuzma, he was pretty amazing on Monday, finishing with 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting, along with six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and just one turnover in 33 minutes of action. His last-second triple to win the game for Los Angeles was a nice cherry on top of his cake.
Nonetheless, O'Neal could not help but laugh at Kuzma's “Jesus” comment, and even went on to take a bit of a shot at Kuzma, saying how he hopes Jesus shuts the young Lakers stud down in the next game.
Talking about the next game, the Lakers are slated to take on the Sacramento Kings on Thursday to close out their regular season. The Lakers are currently 3-4 since the restart, and despite the non-bearing nature of Thursday's matchup, a win will still fare well for this team as they look to build some sort of momentum entering the playoffs.
Kyle Kuzma has been great for Los Angeles in the bubble, as he's taken advantage of the increased role he has been given of late.
