Former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom sat down with Vlad TV to discuss about his drug use and infidelity drama with ex-wife Khloe Kardashian. During the exclusive interview, Odom sounded off on just how much the cheating rumors and drug rumors took a toll on his marriage, and how his problems caused a dent on the ‘Kardashian brand'.
In part 17 of the interview, the 2011 NBA Sixth Man of the Year also revealed that he just came out of rehab prior to the 2012-13 season as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers. Odom recalled he entered the campaign, which wound up becoming his final season in the NBA, as overweight due to rehab. He admitted to using cocaine and expressed a ton of regret for his decisions.
During those extremely tough times, the 2-time NBA champion revealed that he received full support from his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, whom he was married to from 2009 to 2016.
Odom's downward spiral continued following the end of his NBA career. It hit rock bottom in October 2015, when he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada. He was rushed to the hospital and was placed on life support after suffering a heart attack, several strokes, and kidney failure. Further evaluations reportedly revealed that cocaine was found in the ex-NBA forward's system prior to his massive life scare.
Obviously, Odom was extremely lucky to escape the jaws of death. With the way he is talking about it right now, there is a lot of regret with what happened in his life during those times. Lakers fans, and his supporters in general, wish nothing but the best for Lamar Odom as he continues to turn his life around.
