The Western Conference Finals tipped off this Mother's Day Sunday in mid-May with the second best team in the NBA in the San Antonio Spurs taking on the best team in the Golden State Warriors. In a series that no one is expecting, but no one would be surprised if the Spurs won, the road team came out and blitzed the home team and their crowd.

The Spurs led 30-16 after the first quarter, and led by 25 points at 44-19 about four minutes into the second-quarter. That was thanks to spectacular play on defense leading to good shots on the offensive side for the Spurs. The great play led to a 62-42 lead at the half. LaMarcus Aldridge poured in 17 points, including a big-time poster dunk on Warriors big men Draymond Green and JaVale McGee to end the first quarter.

His All-Star teammate Kawhi Leonard led the way with 18 first-half points as San Antonio attempts to upset the Warriors in Game 1 and steal home-court advantage.
