The Summer Olympics are in full swing, and NBA free agency has quieted with most of the available players already signed with their respective teams.

There are a few straggling guys looking for training camp invites though. Veteran guard Lance Stephenson has yet to hear from anyone.

Stephenson joined the Memphis Grizzlies via trade last season, and while he played well enough and did not cause any on court distractions, the Grizzlies declined his $9-million team option.

According to the Boston Globe, the speculation is that Stephenson may have to play overseas next season, if he hopes to be on the basketball court.

Since having an All-Star caliber year with the Indiana Pacers, Stephenson has been traded twice, playing for the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Clippers before landing in Memphis.

Stephenson averaged 14.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 35.5 percent from three-point range during his time in Memphis.

The talent still remains, and he can still be effective, but that hasn't been enough for any team to consider him worth picking up in free agency so far.
