It seems like the irresistible force met an immovable object in terms of NBA social media buffs. The highly controversial LaVar Ball, father of Lakers young star Lonzo, has been involved in a back-and-forth with Philadelphia 76ers future superstar Joel Embiid, and it has been nothing but fun by now, at least for spectators.
It all started back on the night of the 2017 NBA Draft, when Embiid told his teammate, forward Ben Simmons, to dunk on Lonzo Ball “so hard his daddy runs on the court to save him“.
To that, LaVar responded in a radio interview, stating that the best Embiid can do is tweet, since he cannot stay healthy enough to play. Ball also said plenty of things during that interview about both Embiid and Simmons.
After that, Embiid took to social media and had three words for Ball that equates to a not-so-nice message. This, as expected, did not go well with the often outspoken Ball, who decided to take more shots at Embiid.

Clearly, this beef is going to entertain fans through a seemingly boring summer without NBA basketball. Both of these men are never shy to express their mind, which guarantees even more shots fired from both sides.
