LaVar Ball has made it clear over the last several months that he isn't one to back down from any trash-talk.

The most recent chatter involving Ball has surrounded his back-and-forth dialogue with Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal. Ball added more flame toward O'Neal aimed at the fact that he believes nobody is buying merchandise with his name on it. (h/t It's Overtime)

“Ain't nobody is buying his stuff that says Shaq on it. You look, they are buying stuff that says Big Baller Brand. They ain't looking for stuff that says Shaq on it.”

Ball also added that he believes his rating on NBA 2K18 rating would be 100, which would make him the highest-rated player in the game. He is clearly just running with the question in order to gain more publicity around himself and his brand.

At this point, Ball is doing whatever he can to provoke the NBA Hall of Famer. This comes just over a week after he stated that he and his son, LaMelo Ball, could beat O'Neal and his son, Shareef O'Neal, in a two-on-two game.

All the disdain toward LaVar Ball aside, he has found a way to keep garnering media attention by stating outrageous statements because he knows it will keep him relevant. This could become even more prevalent if his son, Lonzo Ball, becomes a star in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers.
