Cavs superstar LeBron James understands the Boston Celtics are undfeated in the playoffs at home, but it doesn't make him any less excited to take on the challenge of changing that in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

“They're 10-0 on their home floor, and they've been very successful against us, obviously, at home,” James said, via Sporting News. “But if you love challenges, then this is a great opportunity.”

James scored 46 points on Friday to help the Cavs hold off elimination from the Celtics in Game 6. As impressive as Boston's home record is, The King does have a habit of playing insanely well in elimination-games during the NBA Playoffs.

The Celtics are, at least historically, pretty great in Game 7 situations while at home. The Celtics are 20-4 at home in Game 7 all-time. Couple that with Boston's 10-0 record at home this specific playoffs, and plenty of the data suggests Brad Stevens and company can be the first team to send LeBron home before the NBA Finals in nearly a decade.

Then again, as mentioned, James is tremendous when it comes to elimination games. While the narrative used to be about him not being clutch — or whatever — he has proven time after time that he will rise to the occasion.

Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals is scheduled to tip on Sunday at 8:30 pm Eastern Standard Time. The worldwide leader in sports, ESPN, will broadcast the event. It should be a great one. One that features two different teams trying to make two different types of history.

No pressure on the Cavs or Celtics or anything.
