JR Smith has been one of the most heartwarming stories in the NBA this past year. The former NBA champion with LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers has gone back to college this year. The amazing part is that Smith is giving his all into studying and golfing. It's a truly inspiring story for anyone looking to go back to school.
Aside from studying in college, Smith has also been playing golf at the collegiate level. As you'd expect, he was pretty good at it. He was so good that he earned the praise of Fred Couples during the Icons Series. That got a reaction out of LeBron James, who acted like a proud dad after Smith rightfully earned that praise.

LeBron James and JR Smith have been through a lot together during the latter's time in the NBA. As a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was integral to their playoff success. His hot shooting saved James and the team multiple times.
However, Smith's most recognizable moment with LeBron James will live on in infamy. During Game 1 of the 2018 Finals, Smith had an unfortunate blunder during the last moments of the game. LeBron's immediate reaction to the gaffe immediately made the rounds as a viral meme.
