LeBron James truthers and Michael Jordan loyalists can finally stand down. Here is your one, true GOAT from the Atlanta Hawks … Tony Snell.
The eight-year NBA veteran just accomplished the impossible. Tony Snell has posted the most efficient line in NBA history, bar none: 50/50/100 shooting splits for an entire season. Never mind that it was on 100 attempts. Have LeBron James or Michael Jordan ever done this? What about Stephen Curry? No? Didn't think so.
Tony Snell is officially the first player in NBA history to have a 50/50/100 season (min 100 attempts).

Just imagine the wherewithal to knock down every single free throw, making more than half your attempts from the field AND from the 3-point arc. Legendary stuff.
This wasn't Tony Snell's first record broken this year either. He now holds the record for most minutes played without attempting a free throw at 471 total. Again, something LeBron James and Michael Jordan haven't come close to accomplishing.
TONY SNELL HAS DONE IT!!!
The NBA record holder for most minutes played during a single season without attempting a free throw is OVER at 471.
big drama ensues as Luke Walton CHALLENGES but the call is upheld.

Sacramento Kings coach Luke Walton even tried to challenge the foul to keep his streak going, but alas all good things must come to an end.
Tony Snell charges on into the NBA playoffs with his Atlanta Hawks as the fifth seed in the East. The New York Knicks definitely need to hunker down and figure out their game plan against the NBA's efficiency GOAT.
