The Detroit Lions are desperate to snap their four-game losing streak against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day. As a result, it seems they are not holding anything back.
The Lions were able to take an early lead in the first quarter after scoring another touchdown. They then followed it up with a surprise onside kick to get the ball back, via NFL Twitter:

This was certainly a timely opportunity for Detroit, and they were able to take advantage. Although the extra opportunity did not result in any more points, it did prevent Chicago from getting a chance for their offense to find a rhythm.
It is no secret that the Lions have not had much to hang their hat on in the 2019 NFL season. Regardless, a win over the Bears would still give fans plenty to be thankful for as they hope to end the year on a high note potentially.
