JJ Redick came into the NBA in 2006 with the Orlando Magic and was surrounded by several veterans, including Hedo Turkoglu and Grant Hill. By no surprise, he faced rookie hazing. In a story that most of us had never heard before, Hill jumped on Redick's podcast and explained how he saved his former teammate from literally getting pissed on by Turkoglu.

“You might've shown up when the practice was over and the veterans brought you in the locker room room and they put you in a chair, one of those chairs with the wheels that swirls around and they're starting to talk to him, you can't do this blah blah blah and then all these vets on the Magic just duct taped him to the chair and then they wheel him into the showers and put the water on and then Hedo was like “let's pee on hi” and i was like no no no no….. then we took him out to the courts and duct taped his chair to the base of the hoop.”

Oh boy. The Magic were having their fun with Redick, who was just a newbie to the league. But Turkoglu, what in the hell? That's so weird. Orlando finished with a 40-42 record that year and missed the playoffs.

Dwight Howard was first starting to make a name for himself in that season, being named an All-Star. As for Redick, he didn't see much playing time in Year One, averaging six points in 14.8 minutes per night.
