Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac is excited about the 2019-20 season and is bent on helping his team go even deeper into the playoffs.

Per Magic reporter John Denton, Isaac shared his hunger to rack up more wins not just for himself, but for the city of Orlando as well. From the looks of it, the main goal is to simply improve on their campaign last season. They tallied a 42-40 record — the first time they've tallied at least 40 wins since the 2010-11 record. And Isaac is aware of what winning does to a city.

“That’s what it’s all about – wanting more,’’ Isaac said recently after making an appearance at NBA Experience at Disney Springs. “Getting a little taste of what (winning) does to the city (of Orlando), winning games, winning tough games (late in the regular season) and getting to the playoffs – that just gives us more incentive to go back and do it again.

Last season, the Magic made it to the playoffs for the first time since the 2011-12 season. They will be carrying the same mindset this year, but with hopes of going past the first round.

“So, we’re all hyped up for the season,” Isaac added. “And I’m sure as guys get together and start playing again, we’ll have more of those talks about, `Hey, we can go even farther than we did last (season).’’

Given his goals and realizations, Isaac seems to be focused on his third season in the NBA.
