Markelle Fultz's long recovery from an ACL tear is finally over. The Orlando Magic will finally get him back in action after he was out for more than a year rehabbing his injury.

Fultz's basketball journey remains a very rocky one. Tons of injuries have derailed his momentum but he has fought valiantly to make it back each time. Fultz explained that the steps he needed to take to make sure he was ready to return were careful and gradual. He said that the Magic were very supportive of him and that the communication was great on both sides.

Fultz also explained his mindset for the Magic's game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday, when Fultz will make his season debut. He said that he will look to have fun while making sure he helps the team improve.

Fultz's defense and ability to pressure the rim should certainly benefit Orlando. In 80 games with the Magic, he is averaging 12.2 points, 5.2 assists and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 45.7 percent. Although his jump shot still looks shaky, he can have a positive impact on the game. The fact that he is healthy again is enough of a reason to be thrilled.

The Magic now have a litany of young guards to find playing time for with Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs and R.J. Hampton. With Rookie of the Year candidate Franz Wager helping him out, Fultz should be able to thrive in his first game back against the lowly Pacers.
