The Orlando Magic made a low-risk, high-reward-type of move last season when they traded for Markelle Fultz from the Philadelphia 76ers.

On Wednesday in the Magic's season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Fultz showed flashes of why he was the No. 1 overall pick in his draft class.

Fultz, who put on a show in college, threw down a monster dunk in traffic versus the Cavs. Take a look:

As you can see, Fultz has fully recovered from Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The Magic believe he can be an effective two-way player for them this season.

Fultz entered Wednesday with career NBA averages of 7.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 41.4 percent from the field, 26.7 percent from beyond the arc and 53.4 percent from the free-throw line. The entire NBA community is rooting for Fultz on the Magic since the start to his NBA career has been bizarre.

Fultz worked diligently in the summer under the careful supervision of at least two members of the Magic’s player-development staff. His jump shot, while the release point looks low, is more fluid now.
