Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo fans claps back at Juventus on social media after the Serie A club suffered from the absence of the Portuguese striker.

Juventus’ 1-1 draw against AC Milan on Sunday concluded that the Old Lady has now gone four consecutive games without a win since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. Even worse, Juve’s poor start saw the club being on the verge of relegation.

It can be recalled that leading to Ronaldo’s stunning return to Manchester United, some in Juventus have tagged the five-time Ballon d’Or winner as “the problem.”

Now that Juventus has been struggling, and Ronaldo has been bagging goals for Manchester United, some Red Devils fans sarcastically poked fun at the Italian outfit’s situation, Manchester Evening News reported.

“Juventus have now lost 2 games since Ronaldo left the club, we were told he's the problem of the team,” a Manchester fan said.

“Juve didn’t need Cristiano Ronaldo they said,” one commented.

“Cristiano Ronaldo's former club Juventus are in relegation after Ronaldo left and have had their worst start in history. He was never the problem,” another fan wrote.

At Manchester United, Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer previously admitted that he is well aware that Ronaldo’s return “raised everyone’s eyebrows.” However, he further explained that it was mainly because some just cannot comprehend his former teammate’s incredible winning mentality.

“I think seeing Raphael [Varane] and Cristiano [Ronaldo] coming has raised everyone's eyebrows because they are winners,” Solskjaer said via Eurosport.

“They have won everything there is to win and they put demands on themselves which the young boys, the rest of the team, look at and think that is how you stay at the top,” he continued. “So it is only going to be good for everyone.”
