Manchester United youngster Jadon Sancho hasn't seen a lot of minutes since his big-money summer move from Borussia Dortmund, but Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn't seem too worried about his slow start.

The Norwegian recently spoke on how Sancho is going to be a key part of the squad moving forward. Via Utd Report:

“Jadon [Sancho] is going to play a lot of games, he’s going to get better and better, of course. The last couple of games, he has maybe suffered from the system we have played a Manchester United, but that’s not going to be a permanent 3-5-2 team that we are always going to see.

“You will see Jadon [Sancho] play a lot and he’ll do well for us, he knows what we want from him and I speak to him regularly. That will be fine.”

Sancho has logged only 299 league minutes this term, making seven appearances. However, only three have been starts. The Englishman hasn't played a lot in the Champions League either.

Considering Manchester United paid a bundle for the former Dortmund man, it's definitely concerning that he's yet to score or assist a goal in a Red Devils uniform. However, he is just 21 and we know how difficult it can be for a young player to get accustomed to the caliber of England's top flight.

The gaffer clearly has a lot of belief in Sancho still, which he should. After all, he was one of the highest-rated rising talents in Europe during his time in Germany, proving to be the full package in the final third.

Manchester United faces Man City on Saturday in a historic Derby and it will be interesting to see if Sancho plays a role for his side.
