Adjusting to the Premier League is almost always a challenge for any young player who makes a big-money move to England. That was the case for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho when he made his way to Old Trafford last summer from Borussia Dortmund.

However, Sancho is starting to find his form under new boss Ralf Rangnick and proving that he can be a crucial piece of this Red Devils side. Following their 3-2 victory over Tottenham on Sunday, the German tactician expressed the belief he's starting to have in the youngster.

Via Sky Sports:

“Manchester United paid quite a few pounds for him in order to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund and if you pay that amount of money in a transfer fee for a player he should perform on this kind of level,” Rangnick said.

“At the end, they are all human beings. The mere fact he cost a lot of money does not mean that he is playing at that level to start with.

“He told me that of course it was a problem for him to get adjusted to the intensity of the league, to the physicality of the league.

“Now he has managed to do that. I'm happy to see him play at that kind of level right now.”

The physicality of the Premier League is definitely one of the hardest adjustments, especially for a player of smaller stature like Sancho. But, the Manchester United star is starting to feel a lot more comfortable in his surroundings and serve as an integral part of their attack. He scored a banger of a goal last weekend against Man City then laid on a fine assist for Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday.

While he only has three goals and three assists in 24 PL appearances this term, Sancho is showing promise. After all, he's only 21-years-old. The Englishman will need to keep performing at a high level so Rangnick continues to instill his trust in him.
