Everyone is excited about Tiger Woods playing in the 2022 Masters. People are already setting lofty expectations for the legendary golfer. Even MLB star Mike Trout displayed his excitement for Woods's prescence in Augusta this year.

Trout didn't say much in his Tweet. But he let the video do the speaking for him.

Trout is a golf fan and also happens to have a beautiful golf swing himself.

Tiger Woods made the announcement he was partaking in the 2022 Masters just days before the tournament. But excitement is through the roof and regardless of how well he plays, the event is sure to see a heavy spike in ratings due to Woods.

Woods is considered one of the best golfers of all-time. He was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame  in 2021 for all he is done during his career. But Woods is known best for his dominance at the Masters. After turning professional in 1996, Tiger immediately won the event in 1997. He has since emerged victorious at the Masters in 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2019 for a grand total of five times. Only the great Jack Nicklaus has won the event more, as Nicklaus won it six times.

Woods was not expected to play after suffering injuries in a car accident last year. But he worked hard to build back strength in rehab and is apparently healthy enough to give it a go.

MLB Opening Day happens to be on the same day the Masters begins, so Mike Trout may have a difficult time keeping tabs on the tournament. Nonetheless, he will surely watch Tiger Woods with any spare time he can muster.
