DeShawn Stevenson played just one full season with the Dallas Mavericks. Incidentally, this was during the 2010-11 season which was the year Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs to a historic title win over LeBron James and his Miami Heat Big 3.

Right now, though, Stevenson has made the rather shocking decision to auction off his championship ring from that memorable campaign. It is unclear why the former NBA journeyman has decided to sell off this precious Mavs memorabilia, but what we can say for sure is that this is going to chase a heft price tag.

Stevenson's ring is currently being auctioned via SCP Auctions, which provided an eye-popping description of the piece of memorabilia:

Owner Mark Cuban paid a total of $1.4 million for the Mavericks' rings, which are absolutely loaded with diamonds. The 10K gold ring includes over 130 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 2.75 carats. Thirty-one diamonds surround the Mavericks logo on top of the ring to commemorate the 31 seasons of existence, with the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS” above and beneath the logo.

Stevenson was not exactly a key player for the Mavs during their title-winning run, but he still provided some quality minutes off the bench throughout the season. That year, the 6-foot-5 swingman averaged 5.3 points and 1.3 triples in 16.1 minutes per game.

As of writing, the ring already has seven bids, with the current bid going for $34,455.
