ESPN's Tim Macmahon reports that Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki would be interested in swapping jerseys with the Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade. The Heat and Mavs face off this upcoming Wednesday night.

Dwyane Wade has been going around the league and exchanging jerseys with one player from opposing teams. He's nearly hit all the teams but hasn't yet swapped from Dallas.

There have been many rumors that Dirk Nowitzki may be retiring after this season as well. He has a very small bench role on the team and isn't very effective anymore. Needless to say, a photo opportunity with the two would be very special. Both are surefire NBA Hall of Famers and were some of the best players of their generation. Commissioner Adam Silver even invited both players to play in this season's All-Star Game.

So far this season for the Mavs, Dirk Nowitzki has averaged 10.8 minutes, logging 4.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while shooting 34.9 percent from the field and 31.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Dwyane Wade, this season, has played a larger role for the Heat but is clearly not the same player he once was. He's averaged 25.6 minutes along with 13.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 32.7 from beyond the arc.
