On Tuesday night, Luka Doncic hit the game-winner against the Boston Celtics in a thriller on TNT. The Dallas Mavericks' 21-year-old phenom has been going off this year, averaging 28.9 points, 9.2 assists, and 8.6 rebounds per game. He's one of the best player's in the league and certainly caught the attention of fellow rising star Donovan Mitchell as well.

Mitchell was quick to react last night right after Luka's game-winner:

It was a spectacular finish against a tough Celtics team. Boston is currently ranked sixth in the Eastern Conference, while the Mavericks are in ninth place in the West. This was a huge win for Dallas and could be what pushes this franchise into the right direction for a potential playoff spot.

This isn't the first time we've seen Luka Doncic hit a game-winner before either. This is only his third year in the league, but the way Doncic plays, you'd think he's a 10-year veteran.

Both Luka Doncic and Donovan Mitchell were recently selected to play in the All-Star game. Doncic was chosen as one of the starters, while Mitchell will be playing as a reserve off the bench. Maybe Mitchell wants a victory in the All-Star game and found this to be his way of hyping up his teammate on March seventh.

This year's All-Star game should be a fun one to watch, with more Luka highlights like his dagger last night. Both, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were selected to represent the Eastern Conference and they'll be searching for some revenge if either matchup against the Slovenian in the All-Star game.

This is shaping up to be one of the best All-Star games to date. There has been a lot of clamor over All-Star snubs like Devin Booker and Trae Young, which shows just how talented the league has become. Young stars like Mitchell and Doncic are beginning to take over the league, but the familiar faces of LeBron James and Kevin Durant are still there too.
