Less than 24 hours after the Brooklyn Nets went bonkers over Kyrie Irving's 60-point explosion, Dallas Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie sent them crashing back to earth on Wednesday night.

Dinwiddie buried the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Mavericks the 113-111 victory, shutting up the entire Barclays Center (via Bally Sports Southwest).

To recall, Dinwiddie had his breakout season with the Nets in the 2019-2020 season, averaging a career-high 20.6 points per game. But he still became the odd man out when Irving and James Harden joined the squad. So yeah, his game-winning shot must taste extra sweet for the Mavericks guard.

The 28-year-old Dinwiddie didn't hide his elation after sinking the dagger, as he barked at the stunned Nets fans.

The Nets traded Dinwiddie to the Washington Wizards last year. But after a largely unproductive stint, he found himself with the Mavericks at this year's trade deadline as part of the Kristaps Porzingis deal. Since joining Luka Doncic and company, Dinwiddie has rejuvenated his career.

The undersized trio of him, Luka Doncic, and Jalen Brunson have worked well for the Mavericks, who improved to 43-26 after beating the Nets. They are currently at no. 4 in the stacked Western Conference.

Dinwiddie always got buckets at Barclays Center. He did it again on Tuesday night.
