Even if you're not a big MMA fan, you've probably come across the name of Colby Covington. He's the UFC fighter that was recently on an all-out hate campaign aimed at Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. This time around, the outspoken former UFC Welterweight Champion has taken aim at the Dallas Mavericks' Mark Cuban amid the Mavs owner's current national anthem row.

Cuban has been in the middle of some controversy stemming from his intention not to play the National Anthem during Mavs home games. This did not sit well with Covington and he made sure to make his feelings known on Twitter:

Cuban has been in his fair share of controversy, but he pales in comparison to the strong-willed Covington. Who could forget his all-out attack on LeBron a couple of months back for supporting the Black Lives Matter movement? Covington absolutely trashed James, who for his part, took the high road by not even giving Covington the time of day.

Covington is now back at it again, as he's come out with this strong statement against both Cuban and the NBA.

As for Mark Cuban, the 62-year-old billionaire was quickly put in his place by the league, who pretty much told him that not playing the anthem was just not a plausible idea. Cuban, whose reason behind his unwillingness to play the anthem stems from his belief that it “does not represent them,” wisely heeded the NBA's order. He'll just need to find a different avenue to voice his concern over this hot issue.
