Who says white men can't jump? Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic may not be the most athletic player out there, but he sure can get up for a rim-rocking poster when he wants to.
Just ask Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris.
Midway through the first quarter of the contest, Luka found his way to the basket after some rather lackluster defense from Paul George and Ivica Zubac. With enough space, he got off for the huge dunk over Morris, who thought he could stop the Mavs youngster with his physical defense.
Bad decision there, Marcus.
Even though Luka Doncic bumped bodies with Marcus Morris and was off-balanced as he fell, it wasn't enough to prevent him from embarrassing the Clippers forward.
Mavs fans also surely loved the scene, serving as a sweet revenge for Doncic for what Morris did in last year's playoffs battle. To recall, in Game 5 of the Clippers-Mavs playoffs series in the bubble, Morris stepped on Doncic's injured ankle. It sparked controversy that the veteran was purposely trying to hurt Dallas' best player.
While Doncic has since moved on from the issue–even saying Morris has already apologized for the incident–it does look like he has not forgotten from it.
But hey, Mavs fans surely love a motivated Luka leading the way.
