Luka Doncic did not exactly fare too well in the NBA All-Star Skills Challenge. The Dallas Mavericks star received a lot of stick from the mean streets of Twitter, which also included Mavs teammate Jalen Brunson.

Brunson was in disbelief as to Doncic's lackluster performance, and the former could not help but share his feelings on Twitter:

Brunson was obviously cheering for his teammate, and unfortunately for him and the rest of Mavs nation, they have been left disappointed by their man's poor showing.

Doncic battled against eventual Skills Challenge champion Domantas Sabonis of the Indiana Pacers, and it did not end well for the Mavs stud:

To be fair to Doncic, he didn't even take off his warmers. He's probably saving his energy for the All-Star Game.

Nonetheless, Kudos to Sabonis who absolutely blew through the course to upset Doncic. The bookmakers had the Dallas stud as the favorite to win this year's Skills Challenge, edging out another all-time great point guard Chris Paul in the odds, but in the end, it was a big man who once again came away with the win. This is becoming a trend now, which goes to show just how talented bigs have become these days.

As for Doncic, he will need to go back to the drawing board to polish his basketball skills. This was an absolute howler for him — embarrassing even.

We're kidding, of course. Doncic is still one of the best point guards in the league today and not even this lackluster showing is going to be enough to convince anyone otherwise.
