Since Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States, numerous NBA players have voiced their displeasure with him. While it is a tradition to visit the White House, Kevin Durant will not be visiting if invited after winning his first championship with the Golden State Warriors.

According to Scott Gleeson of USA Today, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban revealed he is considering a 2020 presidential run on The Rich Eisen Show:

“I wouldn't put it high on my list of probabilities, but we'll see what happens,” Cuban said on The Rich Eisen Show. “I've got a lot of time to decide. It's flattering that people ask me, and I appreciate it and there's definitely a leadership void in this country. But I'm not jumping in.

Cuban is currently working on projects in hopes of creating solutions for the country:

“I'm a big believer that you don't just (run for president) to try to pretend to be a politician. You have to have solutions, and I'm working on some projects that if I think they can turn into solutions, then yeah, I'll do it. If I don't think I have the right answers, then I won't.”

This is not the first time Cuban has been mentioned regarding the presidency. However, the current Mavericks owner understands the responsibilities he would have to the American citizens and it will be interesting to see what ultimately happens.

For the Mavs, they are still in the rebuilding process. With Dirk Nowitzki returning for his 20th season, Dallas selected Dennis Smith Jr. at the 2017 NBA Draft, who figures to be in the running for the Rookie of the Year award.
