Mark Cuban has no hard feelings towards Jalen Brunson after the 25-year-old point guard opted to sign with the New York Knicks via free agency. Cuban admitted that Brunson never gave the Mavs a chance to make him an offer, but the billionaire team owner understands that at the end of the day, the NBA is still a business.

The Knicks went all-in on Brunson, and it's no secret that they did everything in their power to land the former Villanova standout. So much so, that tampering allegations have been thrown in the direction of the Knicks. For his part, however, Cuban no longer wants to bother with this issue:

“That’s all the league stuff,” he said, via Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. “That’s not for us to say. It’s up to them.”

It's not that Cuban is letting the Knicks off the hook here, though. The 63-year-old understands that this matter is not for him or the Mavs to decide. The NBA can do their investigation, and Cuban will just have to live with the results.

For what it's worth, the Knicks recently hired Jalen Brunson's father, Rick as an assistant coach on the team. Brunson is also represented by Knicks president Leon Rose's son. Finally, a couple of high-ranking Knicks executives were spotted sitting courtside during a Mavs playoff game, presumably to check on Brunson.

Cuban is well aware of all this, but apparently, he just doesn't want to give it the time of day:

“I don’t give a sh–. Why would I care?” Cuban said. “It’s not like, ‘Okay, we don’t go to the playoff game, that changes what we think and what we’re doing.’ I don’t care.”
