In their game against the defending champions, the Mavs just fell short, 119-114. They had a chance to tie it in crunch time but they failed and the Warriors took advantage.
Luka Doncic had 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists. He was 8-of-18 from the field and 5-of-10 from downtown. Harrison Barnes chipped in 22 points and drained four 3-pointers on 10 attempts.
The Warriors, meanwhile, received an outburst from Stephen Curry who finished with 48 points. He was 11-of-19 from downtown. Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson chipped in 28 points and 16 points, respectively.
