Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has been the biggest disappointment of Sunday's All-Star festivities thus far. The Mavs stud had a poor showing during the Skills Challenge which unsurprisingly prompted a lot of criticism. Luka has since taken to Twitter to try and explain his side in the matter.

Mavs teammate Jalen Brunson called Doncic out for his lackluster showing, and Luka responded with an honest assessment of his own performance:

Doncic clearly didn't get his warm-up in. As a matter of fact, he was still wearing his warmers when he went up against (and poorly lost to) Indiana Pacers big man Domantas Sabonis. It looked like Doncic was still chilling in the locker room when he was told that the Skills Challenge was going to start in five minutes. The poor guy never stood a chance!

To be fair to Luka, Sabonis went all the way to lift the Skills Challenge trophy, so at least Doncic can say that he was defeated by the champ. Not sure how much of a consolation that would make, though.

Doncic also went on to admit that the pressure of the challenge proved too overwhelming for him. We're just hoping he brings his A-Game to the actual All-Star Game as he's set to face off against the very best of the NBA. Luka Doncic better make sure to warm-up prior to that one as his opponents won't be taking any prisoners. Then again, we're pretty confident he's going to fare much better in the Game.
