The Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic has had an inordinate amount of highlight-reel plays for a rookie. On Wednesday night, he added another clip to his ever-growing collection, driving by Washington Wizards forward Trevor Ariza for the vicious slam:

How about the Mavs phenom throwing it down with authority?
Doncic entered Wednesday night's action averaging 20.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and one steal over 32.1 minutes per game while shooting 43.4 percent from the floor, 35 percent from three-point range and 71.6 percent from the free-throw line.
Last month, Doncic had his most impressive stretch yet, as he registered 24.4 points, 9.4 boards and 7.4 assists across 33.3 minutes a night while making 44.3 percent of his field-goal attempts, 36.2 percent of his long-distance tries and 69.7 percent of his foul shots.
The 20-year-old was originally selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the third overall pick of the NBA Draft last June but was immediately traded to the Mavs for guard Trae Young.
Right from the start, Doncic showed that he was far ahead of his years, displaying the skill and savvy of a seasoned veteran.
Why he is still a bit raw around the edges and can certainly use some work on his perimeter shot, Doncic looks like a future All-Star for years to come.
With the Mavs adding big man Kristaps Porzingis in a trade with the New York Knicks ahead of last month's trade deadline, Dallas may have a dynamic duo for the long haul. So long as Porzingis is able to come back healthy and stay healthy, of course.
The Mavs went into Wednesday night with a record of 27-36.
