Basketball prodigy Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks made a fadeaway three which forced their game against the Portland Trail Blazers to overtime. However, the Mavs couldn't finish the game off, falling short by just three points.

There's still a whole lot of games left in the season but Doncic has already proven that he's the real deal. Like most great players, the 19-year-old definitely has the clutch gene.
In the 121-118 loss, Luka Doncic finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists. He was 7-of-21 from the field, 2-of-7 from downtown, and 7-of-9 from the free throw line. Harrison Barnes had 27 points while DeAndre Jordan had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Their combined efforts and Doncic's clutch performance were not enough to beat the Trail Blazers, particularly the death duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Lillard had 33 points and seven assists while McCollum had 22 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Despite the loss, Luka Doncic's buzzer-beating shot will be the talk of the town in the coming days. He truly is a one-of-a-kind talent and time will only tell if he can sustain or even improve on his game moving forward.
The Mavs will have a chance to snap their six-game skid on Wednesday when they host the New Orleans Pelicans. The Blazers, meanwhile, can win back-to-back on Tuesday when they visit the Utah Jazz.
