The Dallas Mavericks had a stomp of a start as they gave the Washington Wizards a beatdown to the tune of 108-100. To make things better, Luka Doncic seemingly took down Bradley Beal in a dribble. It was a beautiful moment to see for Mavs fans as he dribbled at the top of the left key. He waited for a screen by Jalen Brunson before pulling off a superb crossover that sent the Wizards guard to the floor. Unfortunately, he was called for carrying the ball.

Understandably, the entire American Airlines Arena stood got to their feet after the star guard went to the floor.

An alternate shot presents a different angle, though: Beal was tripped by Bronson.

However, that doesn't take away from his impressive outing in the season opener. He finished with 34 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. Kristaps Porzingis had a terrific game in his first game back with 23 points, four rebounds, and two assists in 29 minutes of action.

This is a fantastic start for the Mavs, and they hope that Luka will cross more stars over on the way to a winning season.
