Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is a decent rim protector, but Dallas Mavericks big Maxi Kleber seemed unfazed when they locked horns at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday.

The 27-year-old German threw down perhaps the best highlight of his NBA career with the Mavs at the expense of the two-time NBA All-Star right before halftime.

Kleber caught a pass at the right wing past the arc and was given some room to operate as his teammates cleared out for an iso play. He took on the challenge head on, squaring up against Embiid and got the step ahead of him after a series of jab fakes.

Once inside the paint, the Mavs forward knew he had to go up strong as he punished the rim with a quick two-handed jam right over the top of the 7-foot Cameroonian.

Kleber has been a steady force off the bench for the Mavs in his third season in the team, currently pitching in 8.3 points and 5.3 boards while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 38.1 from three in 24.3 minutes per game.
