Megan Anderson has been taking a break from MMA since her release from the UFC. It doesn’t appear like that’s going to change anytime soon for the Australian featherweight.

She last fought in the UFC against Amanda Nunes in March 2021. She quickly lost by submission in the first round and was released from the promotion.

Megan Anderson provided a career update on her Instagram. It appears the former UFC fighter has no plans to fight anytime soon.

“For all those that are asking and continue to ask me daily, I have no plans to fight right now,” Anderson wrote on Instagram. ” I’m not saying that I will never fight again, but at this point in my life, I’m loving everything else I’m doing.

“From gaming and streaming, working as an analyst for ESPN and Invicta, and currently filming my first major feature film, I couldn’t be happier and fighting really isn’t on my mind.”
