The Memphis Grizzlies‘ family has just gotten a little bigger.

On Thursday night, Mike Conley‘s wife, Mary, took to her Instagram account to announce the latest addition to their family. She has given birth to a healthy baby boy.

Things certainly got even better now in the Conley household after having their first child. Just last month, the Grizzlies offered Mike the biggest contract in NBA history at five years worth $153 million and the 28-year-old point guard pounced on it and inked the deal.

With the huge contract comes a lot of expectations from him and his team. Now that he is a father, we'll have to wait and see if this will serve as a motivation for him to play better and lead the Grizzlies to greater heights in the tough Western Conference.

Last year, he averaged 15.3 points, 2,9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists in 31.4 minutes per game. The team may have had an influx of injuries especially towards the end of the regular season, which ultimately led to their early playoff exit, but this coming season, the whole of Tennessee is buzzing once again with the intact lineup they have plus a few key pieces added to their roster.
