Is the new MLB dynasty set to reside on Vin Scully Avenue? The Los Angeles Dodgers are sparking those theories ahead of Game 1 of the World Series. Max Muncy decided to take a strong stance on that thought before facing the Toronto Blue Jays.
Muncy chose this unique description in discussing the “dynasty” claim on media day Thursday.
“For this group, this organization, the front office, the coaching staff, the players, the culture we've created….to me, that's been everything. I feel like that in its own is its own dynasty,” Muncy said via SportsNet LA.
Muncy believes in another form of the famous word to describe multiple championships. He and L.A. are four wins away from delivering the franchise's first-ever consecutive WS titles.
How Max Muncy has performed in Dodgers postseason

No doubt manager Dave Roberts and L.A. will need Muncy's power hitting to seal the back-to-back titles.
Muncy recently smacked a Game 2 home run against the top-seeded Milwaukee Brewers. He blasted the four-seam fastball over center field that lifted the Dodgers lead to 3-1.
He's created a historic run during the MLB Playoffs, featuring that HR blast on the road. Muncy's homer at American Family Field became his 14th career blast — the most-ever by a Dodgers player in team history.
Muncy, though, went hitless the next two games through a total of six at-bats. Los Angeles still handled Milwaukee in sweeping the series.
His Dodgers are already the favorites to claim the 2025 WS pennant. Muncy will counter Trey Yesavage on Friday as Toronto's starting pitcher. The Dodgers veteran has smacked 16 home runs with 57 RBIs against right-handed pitchers this season. He'll aim to apply pressure to Yesavage out the gate — and set off the dynasty chatter across the baseball universe plus back home in L.A.
