With or without Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers were still going to be a very good team. But since they were able to lure the California native away from the Atlanta Braves with a big contract, they will be so much better. Freeman replaces the hitting in their lineup that was vacated when Corey Seager left for the Texas Rangers in free agency.

Max Muncy, who will be ready in time for Opening Day as he recovers from an elbow injury, said what every baseball fan is thinking about the Dodgers: they will be an unbelievable team.

Now that freeman is in the Dodgers lineup, Muncy will likely move to his preferred position at second base while Trea Turner goes back to playing his usual position of shortstop. LA could also make Muncy and Freeman rotate between first base and designated hitter while Chris Taylor occupies second base.

Along with that star-studded infield that features third baseman Justin Turner, the Dodgers boast superstar Mookie Betts, former MVP Cody Bellinger and former All-Star AJ Pollock in the outfield. The Dodgers should easily contend for the World Series and approach, if not exceed, 100 wins.

Los Angeles has the stars and the depth to compete with any team. Although their pitching isn't as strong as it previously was, they still have Walker Beuhler and Clayton Kershaw. No matter what happens on the mound, the Dodgers' abilities at the plate should be among the very best in MLB.
