Los Angeles Dodgers star shortstop Trea Turner had one of those viral moments on Tuesday night that when you watch the video it almost seems too good to be true.

To some, it may be a simple slide onto home plate but, Turner somehow made it look so smooth and magical.

It almost seemed like in all-in-one motion for Turner as he slid in safely, cutting the corner of the plate before gliding up to his feet. The Dodgers went on to win the game 5-0 and Turner's slide turned into a viral meme.

What really ties it altogether is that the play at the plate was actually close. Bryce Harper came up gunning on his throw to the plate and Turner executed the perfect slide both in looks and to avoiding a tag at the plate for the Dodgers.

It's odd how satisfying it is to watch the play from the newest member of the Dodgers but it's impossible to watch it just once.

The Dodgers are right in the thick of a heated NL West race with the San Francisco Giants and the San Diego Padres.

Currently, the Giants have a 4 game lead over the Dodgers while the Padres are 7 back of San Francisco. It's likely that all three teams get into the postseason and that whatever two don't win the division, will face-off in a wildcard matchup.

Adding Turner at the MLB Trade Deadline was a big get for the Dodgers. It certainly doesn't hurt that he brings a smooth skillset to the diamond as well.
