Nick Castellanos and the Philadelphia Phillies really put a lot of thought in their wardrobe choices on Tuesday ahead of their do-or-die showdown with the Arizona Diamondbacks for a spot in the World Series.

After Bryce Harper opted to wear a Philadelphia 76ers jersey of Patrick Beverley–probably as a tribute to the City of Brotherly Love, and maybe to show that dog in him like Pat Bev–Castellanos went with an NBA legend fitting for the occasion. The Phillies All-Star was spotted entering Citizens Bank Park donning a Chicago Bulls jersey of Michael Jordan.

Nick Castellanos certainly couldn't have chosen a better attire to send a message than that. Every basketball fan knows what Michael Jordan is all about: winning. And in a crucial NLCS Game 7 where the season is on the line and they have a chance to make it to the World Series, channeling His Airness is the best thing Castellanos could do.

Of course Catellanos will have to perform like MJ (the basketball player that is) when they take on the Diamondbacks, but Phillies fans don't have to be concerned about the mentality he has. Clearly, he and the rest of the team are ready to step up and show everyone the team that tallied a 90-72 record throughout the 2023 season.

The Diamondbacks have won three of their last four meetings in the NLCS  so far, so many might think they have the momentum on their side. But sure enough, it's best not to underestimate and write off the Phillies.
