Former UFC star Mike Perry has always been a ferocious dude. He's not one to back down from anyone. Even when he's in the middle of a live broadcast.
During an event of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) on Wednesday in Tampa, Perry got into with former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Julian Lane. Perry, who recently signed with BKFC, was minding his business and talking to the fight commentators when Lane threw some paper at him and called him a “platinum p****.”
Perry tried to stay calm and professional at first. But Lane, also a fighter of BKFC, wouldn't stop barking. Eventually, the 30-year-old Perry had enough and charged at Lane, with fans having a front-row seat to their impromptu fisticuffs (via Stephen Unscripted MMA).
Perry and Lane exchanged a flurry of punches, although both of them didn't exactly land huge blows. Security personnel and other spectators soon intervened and put a stop to the brawl.
But despite being separated, Lane was still hot, shouting at Perry. Did he have one beer too many?
Mike Perry, who has a 14-8 record, is still awaiting his debut fight with BKFC. He last fought in the Triller Triad Combat, winning via split decision.
Julian Lane, meanwhile, will face Kaleb Harris in January in BKFC Fight Night in Mississipi.
