Kevin Lee's MMA career is bouncing back quickly as the former UFC lightweight has his future planned out with Khabib Nurmagomedov's promotion. Eagle FC is set to come to Miami and has big plans for Lee.

It appears an MMA fight with Diego Sanchez could be in the works for his debut in March. The fight would be at the brand new 165-pound division.

“They spoke to me about Diego Sanchez, so I might go ahead and do that one… The first Ultimate Fighter is known for putting on great fights, he’s going to go out there swinging and you know you’ll get a great fight out of him,” Lee told BJPenn's, Cole Shelton. “He’s not afraid to fight anybody, it just makes a lot of sense, it makes sense for him, it makes sense for me. We’ll probably get that one done.”

Kevin Lee has violent plans for his MMA debut with Eagle FC. He wants to make a ‘bloody' statement.

“I’m going to kick his head into the third row,” Lee explained. “Eagle FC has this beautiful white hexagon, so I’ll bloody that up, write my name on it and then put him out of his misery.”

The title situation at 165 will need to be settled at one point and Kevin Lee expects to be a part of it. 165 is a fairly new weight class in MMA and most big promotions refuse to use it.

“I think everybody in the world agrees that spot is mine. I was the hottest free agent that just got taken off the market. I’ll be ready for the title soon, we will see how that all plays out.”
