Over the weekend, Capcom has been releasing small tidbits of information regarding the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, as new gameplay features have been revealed, as well as a peek at some of the available master rank armor sets that hunters will be able to craft as they dive deeper into the game.

Over on the official Monster Hunter Twitter page, the newly revealed mechanics are presented in the form of hunter helpers, little creatures that hunters can gather and use as consumable items during battles. The most prominent of the hunter helps shown is the marionette spider. This little white and blue spider can be used to throw a silkbind web directly at a monster, thus creating a tether between it and the hunter. From there, hunters can tug and pull on the silkbind and force the monster's movement,  causing it to smash into walls or fall into traps.

Another new set of hunter helpers includes morphed wirebugs that can enhance yourself while wire mounted on opposing monsters, and they come in two forms: Ruby, which can increase the power of the mounted monster's attacks, and Gold, which causes enemy monsters to drop more shiny items from receiving damage from mounted monsters. All of these hunter helpers can only be used once after being consumed.

Lastly, master rank armor sets for Aknosom, Tetranadon, Bishaten, and Somnacanth have been revealed. While some of these armor sets stay close to their lower-ranking variants, such as the Aknosom armor maintaining a medieval-style appearance, other armors, such as the master rank Sommnacnth have a much different style to them, as the upper and lower half present a more fashionable look rather than a practical one.
