While leakers were already sparking rumors about a certain ninja arriving in Fortnite, this time Epic Games have officially confirmed the crossover with the widely popular anime and manga series, Naruto. Fans of either franchise have been bubbling with excitement for this massive collaboration, and the new Naruto skin's release date is just a few days away.

On Wednesday, the official Fortnite account tweeted a confirmation of the epic crossover, with the Naruto Shippuden logo over a bright sky, combined with the text “Believe it!” With a cryptic “Coming soon” promise in the caption, the social media post also revealed the release date for the Naruto skin. Naruto will be arriving in Fortnite on November 16, 2021.

But what the skin will look like—and if it's only the main character alone—is not yet known. Given how widely popular Naruto continues to be, fans are probably hoping that more than one skin will drop, possibly involving other iconic characters like Sasuke and Kakashi.

After all, Fortnite‘s other collaborations for Chapter 2 Season 8 have also had multiple entries, such as for Dune and Batman or the Fortnite x DC crossover. Epic Games did not announce further details about Naruto, however.

That said, players are banking on the accuracy of trusted leakers for now. Leakers had been right about Naruto's release, and they are also saying that the new outfit won't just be a purchasable skin. Instead, Naruto will also emerge as a boss fight in Fortnite, bearing an Explosive Kunai. According to HYPEX, this Kunai Mythic weapon has a maximum throw range of 300 meters on a four-second recharge cooldown.
