Nate Robinson didn't have the outcome in his fight with Jake Paul that he wanted, but he is staying positive. Despite the memes and jokes that took place on social media, Robinson shared a message to his supporters after getting knocked out by Paul.

Right on par with 2020, with weird and unfortunate events taking place all year, Robinson took part in a boxing match against the YouTube star. The former NBA point guard would train months for the fight, getting himself into remarkable shape to put on a show for the people who chose to watch.

However, Paul would prove to be too much for Robinson, as he knocked him out with a swift swipe to the face. Robinson would be knocked out cold, laying on the mat for a few minutes before realizing where he was again.

The Seattle native is considered a basketball legend in his hometown, gaining a following since his days at Washington. Despite being an undersized point guard at 5-foot-9, Robinson was able to carve out an 11-year career in the NBA, playing for a handful of teams.

He was also known for winning the Slam Dunk Contest there times throughout his career, with all three of them coming with the New York Knicks. Robinson's three Slam Dunk Contest wins in 2006, 2009, and 2010 gives him the most wins in the Slam Dunk Contest in NBA history.

There's no doubt that Saturday night's result in his boxing match was an embarrassing moment. However, Nate Robinson appears to be keeping his head held high and appreciative of everyone who's supported him over the years.
