One of the biggest storylines about the Oklahoma City Thunder this season is the 2017 NBA MVP Russell Westbrook taking a back seat to allow Paul George to be the team's primary option on offense.

The Brodie seems to have carried that mindset into the All-Star Game.

Early in the second quarter, Westbrook had a clear path to the basket. He could've dunked the ball, but then he saw George who was wide open in the 3-point area. Westbrook passed the ball to his teammate, who made the shot.

This has been the story for the Thunder all season, and it has been working for both All-Stars. Westbrook has been notching triple-doubles, while George has handled the offensive load for OKC. This has resulted to the team reaching the third spot of the Western Conference standings after starting the season with four straight losses.

Right now, they are trying to help Team Giannis pull an upset against Team LeBron. George currently has 14 points and three assists while Westbrook has seven points, three dimes, and two boards.

Team Giannis blew the game open in as early as the first quarter. As of this writing, they currently lead Team LeBron 95-82 at the half.

Team captain Giannis Antetokounmpo lead all scorers with 20 points, while also adding five assists and four boards.
